I am back from our “Winter Break”, our Disney vacation was great and I think this was our most fun Disney visit so far. Both boys now enjoy going on rides (the slow ones at least) and Zen is no longer scared of characters making it so much more enjoyable.

While we were on a break from homeschooling, we still took advantage of some of the educational opportunities offered at Disney such as Living with the Land at Epcot, Spaceship Earth at Epcot (history), Figment’s Imagination Lab at Epcot, Rafiki’s Conservation station in Animal Kingdom and more. The boys had fun petting animals, touching animal poop and learning a little bit about history mixed in with regular fun activities.

Life has been challenging since our return so while I am still planning on resuming the “formal” part of schooling today, I can’t say I’ve done anything to prepare, I am just glad that Shammy loves workbooks so much as they require zero advance planning. He is also asking to use ABC Mouse again, something he hadn’t done in months so that will help make our transition even smoother.

I can’t wait for Mercury Retrograde to finally end in a few days…
